Hi all got a problem, engine is fine on tickover and pulls like a train but when standing if u press the throtle peddel down to about 1/4 and hold it there it continues to pulse or surge up and down any ideas??????
Thanks Carl

Wish it was that easy my friend. Also does it at a steady 50-60 mph just seems to find a dead spot. As if its not responding!!

id put on diagnostics read fault codes and look at live data ,could be poor throttle pot if in the same position on throttle when fault occurs ,could be a good few things ,

Throttle pot?
I have changed a number of parts that include.
Inj harness
Tryed another ecu
Intank fuel pump
Mas senser
Filter head and filter
Inj seals and washers
Fuel block
Now on changing cam as it has wear on 1 of the lobes that charges the injector.
Other than that i'm what you call stumped

connected to pedal, cant see how it can be cam if it runs well above and below that poor spot ,is it one particular throttle position

Yes ur right same position all the time and and also if u build revs up very slow.
Thanks.

Not showing any faults on dio comp.
Genuine inj loom.
Pedal that was used was fitted off a doner defender.
Thanks

Dont think it will be fly wheel. Got no vibrations or any noise. Not sure on pully would this cause this kind of problem??
