TD5 Longevity

Hi All.....Just wondering now that the TD5's are getting pretty old, how do owners rate them for reliability and Longevity. It is well known that the TDI's are some of the best diesel lumps ever made and have achieved 350,000+ miles without serious attention in fact, I think I remember reading somewhere that someone had over 1000,000 miles on one and was still going strong.....My question is what sort of Mileage's are your TD5's now showing and how reliable has it been?

A properly maintained diesel should go 3-400kmiles with no major work. Might need injectors and maybe a injector pump during that time, fuel quality plays into that and maintenance. But maintenance is the key.
