Hi, Ive recently bought a TD5 metropolis. This is my first Landrover. The car drives fine in everyway but one.

Ive noticed that on overrun when slowing down towards junctions the cars idle will hunt around 1000 - 1100 rpm, enough for you to hear the idle fluctuating. Once you reach a standstill the idle is fine and is maintained steadily.

The car is still under warranty so was checked by Landrover, they had no fault codes.

Has any one experienced this before?

Are you saying that when you take your foot of the gas the revs stay up for a second or so before dropping to idle ?. ( not when de-clutching ).
