This is my maiden voyage here. My own maiden (young daughter) got her first Disco last week and has already popped 2 fuses under drivers seat. As her legs are only marginally shorter than the horse she is towing (Clydesdale) and her boyfriend would be the equivalent of a Shetland pony in leg terms, the lack of seat adjustment is a bit of a dilema. The dealer just pops in new fuses but I suspect there is something deeper. Can anyone offer some techno talk I can throw at the dealer to sound as if I know what I am talking about. Cheers.

you defo got a problem there matey.. you seat should go back until it hits a stop which will cut off yer motor. at least thats how it is on my cars with leccy seats. they are a bit like leccy windows in that respect. i suspect that the switch or sensor that controls this function is gubbed therefore its needs renewing.
i've never had a problem of this sort so i'm only going on what little knowledge i have of leccy systems.
you could try this next time yer at the dealers that sold it..jump into another vehicle with leccy seats and stick yer finger on the button till the seat is all the way back then hold yer finger there for a few seconds longer . when the fuse don't blow ,yule have yer proof that your's indeedy has a problem

Thanks for that. You are bang on the money as a further visit to the dealer at the weekend blew 2 more fuses and problem was traced to the adjuster switch. A new one has been ordered under warranty. Many thanks again.
