Sorry should have added more but My eyes are square from trawling the internet looking for info.
Its a Defender 90 registered in November 2001 the engine is a 15P.
I have a Nanocomm so I should be able to set it up with the correct map and security code to allow it to work, I am currently reading up on what needs to be done.

Cheers.

Would a Disco one do? It seems there is conflicting info on the interweb about whether they are interchangeable , Def to Disco and vice versa, or if the fuel gauge will not work correctly.

Cheers

That is something I have been trying to establish its very confusing as you say some seem to say it is no good the fuel and temp gauges are reversed, and others just re program, its driving me nuts at the moment I need to try and find someone who can give a firm answer.

Good luck, it will be nice to see you get a definitive answer. If they are compatible , then I know a guy who breaks D2's. I can PM his details if wanted.

Will be following this to see how it goes.

Cheers

Cheers any help would be appreciated.
I looked on the usual Tbay where you can find the older ECU quite reasonable and some NNN000120s for stupid prices, I also found :

Who offer a test repair and guarantee the ECU for life????????
I wondered if anyone has tried these people, may be the best option if they can do it.
