Parked up last night, after driving round during the week with no issues. Tried to start and dash lights light up, fuel pump sounds comes on as normal but when turning key, a rapid clicking sound is heard and the engine won't start. Opened up ECU and clicking sound definitely coming from ECU area.

Recently had new fuel pressure regulator installed - not sure if this has any bearing on problem although driving few hundred miles since with no issue.

Model is 2002 Defender TD5 with immobiliser, no electric windows or central locking. Split charge battery system installed in March.

Any tips/suggestions?

Thanks for the input but now fixed! For now at least.... Seems a little person had been fiddling with the light in the back and left it on overnight so the battery was flat. Charged up and all good to go. Panic over!
