For the past 2 days the autobox has done something odd.

When pulling up to a junction and just as you reach stationary, the car feels like it misses and you get a slight jerk from the box.

It only happens when cold.

The other thing just materialising and again when cold, it is like the gearbox does not engage properly as you drive away. For less than a second.

It is a difficult symptom to describe, but you can tell something is starting to happen and I want an idea before it becomes an expensive problem.

The car has done 115k miles and had the fluid changed about 95k.

The first thing I would be doing is changing the oil and filter screen.

You'll need 5ltrs of Dexron III and a filter kit.
