TD5 Auto Box

Hi guys. Could anyone please tell me were my Discovery TD5 Automatic Box gets the RPM and TPS signals for it to work? My gearbox doesn't move and the mechanics say it is one of the two signal wires that is either damage or completely broken off. I need to know the place and the colours of the signal wires.

Don't understand what that means?? The gearbox ECU communicates directly with the Engine ECU.

The signal wire from the Throttle Position Censor to the gearbox ECU is damaged. So the ECU doesn't get the signal from the TPS to tell it what to do. Thats why I need to know what colour the signal wire to the gearbox ECU is.

Experience tells me that the cheapest course is to fit a new loom entirely, available as an original part. My 1999 TD5 auto limped home in 3rd at 230,000km and the mechanic spent several thousand dollars of mine chasing the wires that had fatigued from vibration and shorted in the loom.
( and burnt out the valve block solenoids). A new loom would have cost $450 Australian.
