About 5 months ago I changed out the 2 air suspension bags on my 2000 model TD5 and all has been great until a week ago when the ride height began to lower and the compressor wasnt filling up the bags. Compressor was just swapped out for a new one and the problem i have now is that once the engine starts up the compressor runs for about 30 seconds before cutting out with no change in the ride height. The air bags have fully deflated due to the compressor change out and id have thought that the compressor would run until the bags are inflated again before cutting out.
What am I missing or failing to do? Do I need to raise the vehicle to full height to fool it into thinking its inflated or is there a reset I need to do? Help. Im stumped.
