Hi, I would like some advice from you, my Def 110 TD5 2004 with 80000km, has a decrease in performance after a long acceleration, or at highway speed,or normaly when press full throttle, the engine speed rises but feels low boost, the turbo turns but it is as if the engine was like a "recovery" mode.
If I turn off and on again, the car returns to normal, "ready" and snappy, until I accelerate with all gears at 3000 or much revs or highway or more than 100 km / h.
Another thing that i've made, is install a pressure turbo gauge, and the pressure rise at 1.0 bar or much when the car is normal, while in "recovery" mode, rise max at 0,8 or less bar. I haven't Nanocom.
What could it be?? Overboost??
- MAF sensor replaced new original
- MAP sensor / IAT new
- Fuel pump was checked and cleaned (but not test pressure)
- Fuel filter new
- Injector loom new
- Throttle pedal new
- Wastegate checked and sprayed with WD40

Thanks to all

Are you sure you have checked the wastegate properly?? i had this EXACT problem with my 02 td5, turned out the wastegate arm was siezed. remove the actuator, make sure its working, with a bike pump, if thats working make sure the wastegate arm is COMPLETELY free.

I checked today, I removed the arm from the pin valve and the compressor set at 1.0 bar, I did move the valve several times, only when it begins to push the valve does not open in the sense that it's like too pulled by the spring inside the valve, the pressure of 1 bar can not make it to cancel the spring force and then pushing, barely able to cancel the spring force .. is normal?
How many threads you have on the stud of your valve?
I Have had 13 (counting on the crest of the thread)

hi, i've notice that if i switch on instrument panel only, then push throttle fully down, then start the engine, my 110 is suddenly in "recovery" mode,Then if i switch off and switch on, the car is in "normaly" mode.
This defect happens when i rev up the engine with the car standstill.

It's normaly, it's right??
