Hello all i am new to this forum and to landrovers. i have a 2005 td4 sport. after buying it she ran fine. then i lost all power on low revs. after reading on the forum i narrowed it down to the maf sensor. once fitted it was better but when it got warm i would lose low range power again so i have now dissconected the egr. i now have all power the only problem i have now is an intermitant miss fire. when it happens its have a lumpy tickover as though the engine wants to cut out and the other time it happens is when i am cruising at steady speed. had the diagnostic on it and it says pressure rail sensor. i have cleaned the contacts and plugged it back in and it was fine for 2 days but has happened twice now i have heard it mentioned a few times about the harness could it be that if so where would i get one from

cheers

Hi. I'm new to this but I had similar thing. Engine cut out at high throttle and low fuel rail pressure error. My fuel pump was on its way out. The electric one near rear wheel arch. Can you hear it change sound when on? At the same time I had a leaky injector which made it slow to start up.

Cheers mate for getting back to me the pump is quite noisy but its a constant sound . Problem is i dont know how noisy they are meant to be. i can hear it standing next to the car whilst its running but not when i am sitting inside
