hi am new to this website so hopefully sent this to the freelander zone. we wave a td4 freelander 2005 it is used to pull our caravan. lately it seems to lose power when pulling and after a few hundred miles it seems to struggle to the verge of stalling. then when restarted in the morning it shook violently and blue smoke came out of the exhaust it dont run well at the mo .it has been fully serviced.

1) check/change crankcase breather filter (do a search)
2) clean egr valve (do a search)

would check/clean crankcase breather filter as a priority as a blocked one will kill the engine fairly quickly. Should cost about £16 new and take around an hour to change if you've never done it before.

Good luck
