HI All after geting a price from LR for a 60k service on my 2005 freelander Td4. Ive decided to have a go myself. Ive looked through the service sched and the only thing I really got any Trouble with is the Crank Case Filter. No one really seems to know much about how to replace this. Ive managed to locate the filter under the engine cover in front of the air filter housing and appears to be under the injectors. Does anyone know if this is an easy Straight forward job to replace or know where I go from here or would I be better off entrusting this job to LR , same as with the diesel filter under the right rear wheel arch is it worth the effort or am i better of just getting LR to change it. Thanks in advance/

Crankcase breather is an easy job- the under arch filter can be a pig to get out of it's holder.

Easy job if like me you follow the above thread on changing it , Got a genuine one from ebay for £19 .
