Hello All,
After sorting the left drive shaft or better getting it sorted there is still some issue that it doesn't gear up smoothly from 2nd to 3rd somehow sticking if accelerating slowly. When taking foot off and back on it gets into the 3rd gear.
The other one is when taking the foot off acc. pedal putting it back on it's like hacking in the gear or back into drive/when going back into drive. Kind of a clonk noise.
When it's cold the acc pedal is really sluggish, only after a while it gets better. Not sure if that is still about the glow plugs as I couldn't get around to change it in summer. Plusgas didn't work that time and couldn't drive that long
When it was for the drive shaft change it I asked them to check on the IRD if still ok. Obviously it was ok, but they'd added 1l of autogearbox oil which is odd. After the gearbox was refurbished in 2017 that happened, the garage refilled it and when talking to a bloke from LR he asked me where it disappeared to? Asking the gearbox specialist I didn't get a response to it. Where could that go as it might be related to the above gearing issue. Will probably ask the question again now as it seems a problem.
Any thoughts on that? Could railpressure influencing some of the above?
