Can anyone tell me what model auto gearbox is fitted to freelander 1 auto diesal 2004
Please, as need to irder some parts for it
 
Thank you, ive got replace solenoids ive been told as i have only got 4th gear now and f4 flashing on dash,
Is this a common fault do you no

Not common, but it's the most likely issue with any modern automatic gearbox.
It'll likely be just 1 solenoid at fault, but you need to do a diagnostic read, to identify the cause.

F4 simply means the box is in limp mode, so it's locked in 4th when going forwards, but you should still have reverse and park too.

Your Correct i do have reverse and park, issue started after a banging came from back axle, flund out all bushes was knackered, so we have replaced them now,
I can get a kit that has all solenoids for repair gearbox, would you recommend changing tgem all

Do you have a link to that kit? I've seen those got really expensive in the last years.
