TC, ABS and Brake Light on...

Any ideas why these are staying on constantly- they normally extinguish as you drive off ( apart from the hand brake light, which you disengage).
Drove home from work- 8miles- started ran fine, no warning lights on...stopped at the supermarket for some milk, and expected the lights to go out but stayed on- drove over 20 mph, and maybe 500yards, lights were still on.
I did a quick search on the forum but could n't find anything. I want to have a look under the bonnet, but it coming down in buckets at the moment.

PS I changed the key fob batteries this morning, and the feckers still saying low key battery!

Oh I forgot to mention, I replaced the accumulator 2 weeks ago. (2 med presses and i could hear the pump kicking in!)

Started this morning and the TC light was still on, I pumped the brake pedal a few times and it dissapeared!! no other lights came on and made 2 stops on the way....Glitch or warning?
Lets see what happens tonight>.....
