Hello all,
I have returned my swivel housing to its rightful place. Unfortunately there seems to be an impingement on the movement back and forth over the ball. I've loosened off the pins but it hasn't made any difference. But on taking the top pin completely out, the swivel will go all the way on the ball as it should do. Is it just tight grease packing around the top pin, ot something else?As far as I can see, and as far as I know. I have reassembled it exactly in the reverse of the disassembly.
I should confess. There was a little bit of grease left in the packet. About a spoonful. Which I put in the hole of the top pin. And then pressed it down just to use it all up. Thought it would make its way down onto the ball easily enough. Other than that. Anyone else found it tight on full steer as it were? Will it get easier once the grease is spread even?
Opinions please. Don't hold back.
