Land Rover Series 3 SWB Diesel 1974

Hi welcome to the auction of my Land Rover. Only had it a short while, because it needed alot of work doing on it for the MOT, which it passed with flying colours!

The vehicle has been used off road, very capable at this.

Good Points
Has had the rear crossmember replaced
New Springs all around
New Shock absorbers all around
New starter motor - Now starts first time everytime
New Battery (Still under a year old)
Replaced Track Rod ends and alignment set correctly
Fuel tank drained and cleaned, pickup pipe extended to bottom of fuel tank
Doesn't burn oil or Leak oil
But please remember with Old Diesels they do smoke at first start.
3 months road tax remaining
Receipts for work done from last 15 + years, MOT certificates also present for past 8+ years

Not so good points
Battery discharge issue when left for long periods without starting (not the battery itself, I disconnect the battery when I'm not going to use the vehicle for over 5 days)
Indicator usage affects headlights, wires are all ok possibly just the indicator stalk worn out, can be found on ebay with a quick search for £13.40 + P&P
Panel folded in on front lefthand wheel arch through offroading, can be bent back out
Small hole in exhaust bend under front left wheel arch.
Hole in bulkhead on driver side footwell, your boots may get wet (Not an MOT issue)

If we decide to do all these repairs ourselves we would like £2500 for it. But given the current state the Buy it Now price reflects the vehicles value
