Swap anyone? Or buy My 90 van roof ect and cage for truckcab

I think I want to make mine into a truckcab as my roof seams to get inthe way a lot off roading,

Offered up is my roof ( has a dint / scrap down drivers side)and my van sides in good condition and my rear door which is not mint but good, also my roll cage as the roof is drilled for it,

someone asked me on Saturday about getting rid of a cab and fitting a hardtop.

when I remember who it was i'll give you a shout!

Erm not sure thought tdi and td5 were the same just diffrent tubs,

Roofs are interchangeable and will swap straight over.

The older roof has ribs on it dont it and the ones on the td5's where smooth is this right?

I think thats the series with the ribs, my 1995 300tdi had a smooth roof

Tdi's have smooth roofs mines not as smooth as it was tho after a tree

The early roofs had external ribs.

They then went to smooth roofs all the way to 2002 (I think) when they introduced external ribs again but smaller.
