Hi all,

I'm looking at a SUZUKI VITARA JX 4 U.
It's "S" reg. and has an asking price of £1750.
Could anyone PLEASE tell me if this seems like a good buy, the underside
looks good with no mud or rust.

Any known faults I should look out for?

I'm not sure if the timing belt has been changed and the car has done
68k is this an expensive job?

Any help / advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks

John

cars.virgin.net:

Retail: £2,715
Trade: £1,841

Private Good: £2,315
Private Average: £1,805

Part Exchange: £1,965
Private Poor: £1,325

I think they have a *very* short service interval.

Thanks for the info.....

Checked it out and left it there!!! Looks like the stem seals had gone.
No oil... lots of gasses from rocker box, oil in tail pipe!

Well...back to the drawing board... anyone selling a 4x4? cash waiting....

Me. Got £15000?

(-:

Check Autotrader. You can get one - just got to be careful. Some have
been hammered, but some have been driven gently for hardly any miles.
I would steer clear of Suzukis - there is better stuff to be had.
