Okay so not the usual "is it worth it" installation questions : I'm going to take the hydraulic winch off me Landy.

It came with it, I've never used it, was holding out for pulling a load of scrap metal out of an old midden on our farm but had a roaring success dragging it out with the recovery hitch on the rear crossmember with some dyneema webbing, so now it's just looking like excess weight that I have no use for. Having a spare grill and bumper in the "just in case" pile from my previous Landy it seemed like I might just be able to undo all the (relatively recently installed) bolts from the oil box, bumper and PTO and take it off myself, put it all on a pallet and stick it on eBay.

Having removed the seat panels and had a look it's in good nick, but I'm getting nervy about the spanners to gearbox rear interaction.

Anyone willing to have a look and tell me it'll be alright?

where the oil seep is is where I'm looking at taking the engagement knob armature off, which is where I'm thinking of unbolting the back part. Don't know if I need a new cover for that or just remove the armature, I guess there's one way to find out.

top of the oil box for the hydraulics. Then there's the thing on the chassis by the dumbirons with the mini crankshaft on it, don't think that's an OEM part for the Landy itself so I reckon I can just unbolt it.

Do tell me if I'm being cavalier 💁‍♀️
