Me again {sigh}.

My centre console storage (behind handbrake) has a broken lid (the latch appears to have snapped off); does anyone know if this can be repaired/replaced and, if so, what part number should I be looking for (mine's a 2002 TD4, 3 door, auto)?

Actually, thinking about it, where can I find something that gives me all the part numbers for my car?

Also, whilst the padded armrest (on top of lid) is nice, it's just a tad too far back and I'd like to pull it forward a bit - are there any horizontally adjustable armrests for this?

Thanks,
Rich

Tried that (been all over fleabay all day); might have to measure up and see if I can't mod with something designed for another vehicle.

armrest doesn't move horizontally :(

I did see one somewhere that was extended and very trick looking. Not my cup of tea but I would like captains chair armrests - one either side - I have a camper with these -very comfortable and fold up to get in and out.

We have the padded leather armrest on our 2005 Freelander but you are right, it is a bit far back - it just screws onto the lid so I suspect it would be quite easy to mount the padded armrest on a steel or timber plate which in turn is bolted to the lid, allowing some horizontal movement.

Its called a 'Cubbybox lid' if your after one from LR, the only option is black or grey i think.

You can replace just the lid. Yes they are a ridiculous price for a piece of tacky plastic though. £60+ springs to mind.

Ignore it or glue a couple of thin flat magnets to eitherside! My opinion atleast.
