Freelander 1 sun roof sliding glass - vast range of prices for EFT500070

I think I need to replace the sliding glass assembly in my Freelander 5 door 2003 TD4. The part number is EFT500070. There is a very large range of prices from UK LR parts dealers (not Ebay sellers) between £140 and £420 for this part. Clearly branding is different. Does anyone have any recent experience of buying one of these? I believe that generally you get what you pay for so I am suspicious of such a large range of prices but I don't want to pay a premium price for something that really isn't all that different - I think a new one of any kind is bound to be way better than my existing 18 year old one!
I would be grateful to hear any opinions on this. Incidentally I used LRworkshop to get a range of prices.

I managed to get one from a scrap yard. It was a bit iffy in places but I rubbed it down and gave the metalwork some rust treatment and a coat of paint. It came up okay and the whole job cost me £15. It was luck of the draw getting a reasonable one though, but my original was absolutely hanging so I was pleased.

Hi Arctic2, thanks for your reply. FamousFour don't seem to have any but I have left a message with them asking for a quote. I don't want to spend £420 from Rimmer Bros (same price as land Rover themselves who still offer the part) when there are ones from LR Series and Paddocks for less than £150 - on the other hand I don't want one that leaks or corrodes really quickly. LR Series has one at £145 and one at £381 apparently the same. I just don't know what I would be paying double for - I intend to call them and ask their opinion.
I will also see what Famous Four comes back with but your feedback gives me confidence in them so thanks again. Chris1959

Just a bit more feedback on this Paddock Spares say their website price needs to be changed as they can no longer source the item at the price on the website. famous Four quote £400.00, LR Series can't be reached by phone and as yet no reply from them. It looks like the price is now around £400 for this item (EFT500070) Chris 1959
