Yep I’m thinking that.. Drove fine after though so gutted as thought it was nothing…Oh dear
It’s the 2.2Tdi 2012 :/
If you have not had it long then time to start looking at a claim with the garage.
Otherwise start looking at getting a replacement t box for starters.
good luck.
Cheers
I can't begin to imagine what's happened there, no oil to a bearing?
I haven’t even touched the Tbox as I don’t even no how to use it I’m literally a newbie… so just from using normal gearsWere you playing with the tbox when this happened?
Changing gear using the tbox?
Cheers

I’ve just been looking online and that side piece unbolts that has cracked on mine so could I possibly just buy replacement side piece & top oil up :/
just throwing ideas out here
You need to know which part took a holiday and tried to make a big for freedom.
Or maybe you don't.. just source a replacement and swap it. I can't imagine it's worth even thinking about a repair.
But as said, can you give it back to wherever you bought it and let them fix it?
Something made it go bang,
If you got from a garage/ dealer take it back.
If you want to fix it your self you will need to send it to a specialist and get it rebuilt or speak to someone like ashcroft and get a recon unit.
Otherwise you are going to be stripping it into piecs and buying all the components to fix it.
Cheers
I'm surprised there's no evidence of any oil leakage. Also surprised you were able to drive an inch
as mentioned above the garage I got it from are 6 hours away I can’t imagine getting much joy from them so think it will be on me (just my luck..)
any recommendations for a specialist in around the Colchester,Essex area?
Thankyou guys
Appreciate your input Thankyou buddy will update tomorrow with how I get onSorry, not my area, give the garage you got it from a call, and ask them their thoughts, after all it will cost them to send a truck to pick it up.
they may know someone local who can do the job and charge them.
Cheers
