Good morning everyone,

I have just embarked on swapping out the speakers on my 02 sub and have come across the insulation blanket inside the speaker case. Is this the norm? Just like to hear your views on it before I button it back up.

It's not the end of the world, just won't do as intended. That said they aren't great to start with the earlier ones with the 2 speakers and much better sounding than the newer ones

Yeah I'm not after ground breaking audio just not continuous farting from the knackered subs. Anyway job done, just got to put it back together!

well, does it sound any better?
the sub in the later l322 is rubbish and not worth having
Hi, I'd say yes absolutely but unfortunately I'm having to go door by door now to check what's working and what isn't. 2 rear doors are now good. The pax front door needs the mid replacing (door card off, speaker out and replacement coming. I believe the driver door may need a tweeter but the annoying bing you get with the door open drowns out any sound of the door speakers lol.

It gets bored of binging after a minute or 3
:) I'm not sure if I can stand 3 minutes of that noise, so I got the passenger mid installed and the sound is a lot better although i have noticed a drop out in the drivers door in the mid or tweeter but the subs working a treat so for the moment i'm happy and will address the drivers doo in a bit.
