Guys

200tdi - I cannot remove number 3 injector.

Annoyingly I can turn it through 360 degrees easily - but I cannot get any upwards movement on it at all.

I've had mole grips on it - soaked it in diesel and it will not shift. I've stood on the bumper and turned it and lifted at the same time but still nothing.

Am i doing something wrong? They are just a push fit - right?

Cheers

Will

Oh - OK - thanks James. I will give it another go this afternoon only turning clockwise.

Cheers

I have often seen this mentioned on the forum.. Is there anything that can be done to make removal easier when it needs to be done, like occasionally spraying with wd40 or something..?

Hazaar! Injector out - thanks a million James - in all the stuck injector threads I've read I don't recall ever seeing that you're only meant to turn them clockwise.

With the injector out I can't see any trace of a copper washer - either on the body of the injector itself or down the hole in which the injector sits.

I am hoping this is the cause of diesel seeping around the base of the injector and covering the rear half of my engine in a black oily mess

Thanks again !!

Will
