Last week I had a new ird and vcu unit fitted. Yesterday driving along it wouldn't accelerate over 50mph. I changed down gear and the revs went up but the sped struggled to increase. Few minutes later it would drive perfect and accelerate normal but then happen again later. Any ideas what it maybe?

Correct oil level and oil in ird, vcu recon or brand new? Correct torque when put back together? Props on nice and straight?

I think its a bit more serious than a bottle of redex. Take it back.

Read the FedEx thing and tried it. It made it slightly better now what happens is I start the engine and the light is on, I pull away and it goes out then about 5 minutes later it comes back on. It was originally when I hit 2.5k revs but now it's more on time than a certain rev range

How about the low pressure fuel pump. Mine had the similar symptoms until I changed it.

If it was a turbo hose, I would be expecting to see clouds of black smoke from the back.

how many miles has it done if over 70K then change the filter and possibility the pump
