Stolen Defender 90 TD5 reg HG51 OCN

Had my beloved Landy defender td5 pickup HG51 OCN stolen on Friday the 9th May.
2 landrovers were stolen that night from the Pewsey area in wiltshire.
Mine was dark green with a roof painted green from its original colour of white.
It had a special black powder coated frame in the back to seat passengers with a protective frame to keep them secure. It is also on army steel banded tyres.
I know it's wishful thinking to think it will turn up, especially when so many are stolen in the Salisbury plain area, only to be broken up for parts, but this thread is worth a line if I can get a lead on it and I would be overly grateful to get her back.
I Wish I had put a tracker on it now that I am aware of how many go missing each year. Especially when the police don't even come out to investigate, as "it's just another landrover theft"
Well it might be to them, but it was much loved by me and my family.

Just another Land Rover theft. the cops are getting worse next it'll be it's just another bombing. makes me sick

You shouldn't mention it doesn't have a tracker on an open forum (is this section open?) Sometimes thieves will park a vehicle up in a public place for a few days to see if it has a tracker, the best hope for recovery is at this stage. Coupling your reg with the information of a lack of tracker is risky as these c**ts aren't stupid and will most likely scan forums or simple Google your reg every few hours.

Hope you find her. I can't comprehend losing mine so can't imagine how upsetting it must be for you.
