HI my freelander 1.8 99 plate,seem that there.s to much fuel getting to the engine.when cold it just abouts tick-over and is impossible to rev up,once warm it goes to 4000 rpm and stays there and you can rev it freely,dose anybody no what controls the fuel intake as i cannot find a fuel reg.any input would be grateful.

you sure its too much fue and not too much air? sounds like un-metered air or inlet manifold gasket/vac hose/inlet hose beyond the mass meter split does it gots a plastic innet manifold? its not beyond these to split, check for air leaks!
