Well we still have a gutless Freelander? Had new Maff new pump and filter, changed fuel rail sensor as it was reading 3 volts at 3000 rpm, I read somewhere that it should be 2 volts (still reads 3 volts). I rigged up a two volt supply to sensor plug and it seemd to rev more willigly but could not drive it. Replaced washers in Pump regulator.

The low fuel pressure sensor reads 4 volts at tickover and drops to maybe 3.8 if you floor throttle. Could it be pump regulator allowing to much fuel to rail?

No faults logged

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Still no luck then.

Not sure exactly how significant the 0.2v drop is in relation to low pressure.

Lift out the fuel pick up/sender unit from the tank and check it's clear.

Conversely the 3v at the high pressure sensor if accurate is still puzzling, suggesting rail pressure is high which would mean greater fuel injected and more power not less......

Some faults may show up on testbook but not on generic a code reader....
