Sticky indicators

Just a quick one: when i turn the indicator lever up or down ( left or right ) the bulbs and indicator lights on the dash start to flash as normal but after a few tick-tocks they slow right down and stop flashing. Alas! the bulbs stay illuminated...Any ideas where a fella should start to look ..?!?

I'd start with the relay.

So if I start behind the dash, following the indicator wires back, where should I expect to find the relay ?

it's screwed to the insides of yer bulk ed, drop the instrument panel and then put yer indicators on you should hear it ticky ticking
