I've been following this site for a few months now and picked up loads of useful info so i thought i'd post this to try and re-pay something.
A few months ago i asked if it was possible to upgrade my HK ...iostereo to take an mp3 player and it was looking tricky to do. Two weeks ago I bought an mp3player/ transmitter off of t'internet which fits into the cig lighter socket (had to use an extension socket from Aldi to bring it to dash level and avoid the gearstick). This unit has usb,sd, and min jack inputs and transmits to a selected frequency on the radio and it cost less than a tenner,+ £3 for the extension (which has 3 more cig outputs and 2 usb outputs to power other gadgets) The sound quality is fantastic; I now have a 32 gig sd card with thousands of my favourite tracks on it (thanks to my son) oh and it even came with a remote! For an old muso like me this makes a big difference, so I just had to share this, hoping it helps someone with the same predicament.
So ..if you see someone driving a black 04 FL sport in the n.e.....singing away and with a big smile on his face...it's probably me
