Morning all,

Not posted for a while due a change of email address and not being able to log on.
After a year of owning another car due to last discovery's chassis being toootally rotten so scrapped, i have happily possibly foolishly purchased anther Discovery TD5, it's a Landmark edition so is very well equipped and amazingly almost everything works!

Anyhow on to my problem (always a problem),
When braking from speeds over 20mph i get a wobble on the steering wheel, wasn't sure if it's due to warped Front discs?
Also at higher speeds over 50mph i get the same wobble, it's not undrivable at speed and will happily sit at 65mph with no issues or excessive noise but the wobble is worrying me as i don't want some catastrophic failure at speed, it's not a violent wobble just the steering wheel has a slight side to side movement.
I have been designated as driver for my daughter and 5 of her friends to take the to London for a concert and last thing i want is for the car to fail on rout or return, or worse cause and accident.

Many thanks in advance for any reply's

Wheel balance usually worst at 50-60 as above would start there, shaking when braking as you said warped or Ill fitted discs as a general rule or starting point, check disc run out
Jealous would like a pursuit myself pics please

Thanks for the responses guys, i will start with the wheel balancing first then will look at the disks.
Hope that's all it is, also have to grease the UV's on prop shafts as don't know when they were last done.
It's a Landmark not Pursuit

Thanks
