steering wheel change

I bought a Mountney 15" wheel and boss kit, boss kit was fine, but wheel was the biggest pile of **** I've ever bought, It kept folding up the spokes were made of toffee. Mountney replaced it twice, but it kept failing.
Managed to buy a 10 year old, old stock one from an MG spares shop, it's a 14" one, so not as ideal as the 15" one, but it's been fine.

my S3 lightweight has an MG steering wheel which is a bit sexier, but its also a bit more of a workout. I'm probably going to go back to standard once its back on the road

Metro, Maestro, Montego all fit - put a maestro one on mine - bit smaller diameter + a bit thicker to grip, gives a bit more room but still retains enough leverage to turn easily and look right in a 70's landy too.

They are also a bit flatter which gives more room too, but you may need to ease your indicator stalk back just a tad to avoid knocking with your fingers when turning
