I have had a good check of the forum for this but nothing quite matches.
We have a 2.2 2011 Freelander Auto which has just had the Auto box changed (it was worn out), the new box was from a low mileage vehicle, part numbers were an exact match.
Under steady acceleration I would say 40mph plus, as it changes up it hesitates the change and goes through a moment of vibration, exactly the same effect as if the wheels were momentarily out of balance, (they aren't).
I'm convinced this is transmission related, it is absolutely not a missfire.
I'm not really clued up on these vehicles but could it be something like Auto gearbox fluid level (it's new with the box, and a new torque converter too). transfer box / Haldex service required?
Software update required?
Its going into the garage in 2 days.
Thanks in advance from anyone who's had this.
