Steering inner axle/column

Greetings everyone! I wanted to know if it is possible to build a steering inner column for a series 2a 1962. Spare part is difficult to find and if so, very expensive. I tought using steel and a milling machine would be possible. Any comments? Thanks!

its easier to use a series 3 column and have the steering wheel of the 2a old column end welded to it id get that done at a local fabricators

I was going to say dingo root have them in stock but then I noticed you aren't exactly local!
