Ive had a look at the S2 or 2a bulkhead in my garage, it doesnt have a shroud but it may just be missing. Here is a photo.

I thought that may be the case. I think what is misleading is the number of S3 indicator stalks you see on S2a's making it look like it should have a shroud to cover all the bear wires.
Cheers guys!
Andy.

ive seen the column shroud off an early austin mini being used to cover all that crappy wire up on a series 2A to quite a pleasing effect

dunno how fekkin hard it is to get a mini cowling nowadays though

i'm going to guess it's a later 2a bulkhead

a feeble guess due to the black instruments panel which would have been fitted to a negative earth vehicle which i would guess would have been a post '67 with lights in the wings and have a single wiper motor with wheel boxes to operate both wipers

your photo shows very little to be sure so i could be wrong, is it possible to get some better pictures and a picture of the passenger side glovebox/shelf, someone "might" be able to properly decide what years it comes from then

edit
there's every chance it came from a station wagon as well due to the limestone colour and it appears someone might have fitted a radio at some point which would also point me to it having been from a station wagon

You could use one from a Riley Elf or maybe a Wolseley Hornet ...:p ;)

Does this give a better view of the dash ?

if that is aimed at me then, no it doesn't sorry too small a picture

i would say that is quite a late 2a dash though going by the switch layout and no rotary light switch surrounding the ignition switch along with no starter button under the dash and single wiper motor, i guess it'll be a post '67 vehicle

not sure but i think it might even be a sixpot looking at the lower bulkhead panel (that really is a guess  )

edit
there's quite a few non standard additions to either side of that dash
