Steering Arm to Box spline distance??

Hi All, a quick Q? here - what's the distance from the steering box spline shaft [lower edge of box] to top edge of the drop arm?

Mine is tightened up/torqued correctly but doesn't look as if it has pulled up the shaft enough.

I think they all vary depending on the quality/which company did the casting of the arm

its tapered so just bloody tight

There is usually plenty of room for the dust seal when tight, On mine I filled the gap that was left even when arm was done up with a second seal to keep crud at bay.

Thanks guys, that's great. I'm happy it's cranked up on taper uber tight.
