STC4858 or STC3124

Is there any real difference, ie, does it matter which one you fit ?

I think you get an extra BML image

So I take it that the only difference is the part number ?

I ordered a 4858 ...

I just searched those part numbers and they look like different parts from what I can see.

I don't know anything about these so I can't offer any advice whatsoever, but they do look different. One looks to have a round flange and the other square. I am not sure if that is the only difference.
