Starting Problems after Glowplug Replacement

Good Afternoon,

I wonder if anyone can help - I done several searches but can't find my issue

I've just replaced the Glow plugs on my P38 The problem is she won't now start

I've taken the New Glow plugs they are wet and smell of Diesel

I've connected them outside the engine turned the ignition on but they don't Glow

I's appreciate any help / advise

****part or cheapo glowplugs? Otherwise as dogsbody said, glowplug relay or fuse.

just connect the glow plug direct to a battery with a cable 5 sec , if it warm , that it is the relay

Sorry I've not been back to you all I've been away

Not cheapo glowplugs I bought Bosch after taking note of other posts - Cheap never saves you money in the long run

Spot on Dogsbody I was the relay - I ordered one in the week and have just replaced it She fired up 1st time !! Ye Ha
