Mine makes a beep, which is a warning the PDC isn't working.
Nodge, Thanks for pointing this out! Indeed the PDC has never worked since I bought the car, hence the warning tone has always sounded! Knowing this, thanks to your response, |I checked the PDC section in the handbook and the long tone for a fault is mentioned there.
