Any help on this. Just replaced the crank pulley as it was knackered and threw belts off so had no charging due to the alternator not turning. Now fixed and charging again. (14.2v on idle).

Cleared codes and still there including srs light on dash. Have also checked pretensioner connections un plugged and re plugged and still no success although doubt they are the issue. As its more like something with ecu with all thes faults out of the blue. Checked also ECU connection (under blower under dash) and still codes dont disappear.

Also had no accidents.

Wilm also be trying to take it to a certified landrover garage to check if maybe they can ve cleared with their computer. Although I doubt thats the issue.

Any idea?

Warning lamp fault is probably one of the bulbs in the cluster. There's normally two, so you still get a warning if one blows.

Tensioner is probably an issue inside the thing. Continuity testing SRS stuff can be a pain, because the connectors are normally shuttered to prevent accidental triggering.

Had the same problem on my lad's old Z3, so we added a 2.2ohm resistor to the loom side of the connector under the seat & the fault cleared !!

Hi Freelander 2004 SRS warning light on. Normally get cleared diagnostic tool plugged in fault codes can be easily erased & SRS off. Faults remaining under front seats LAUNCH123X Right and Left pretensioner resistance too high. I unplugged the yellow plugs under the seat cleaned with contact cleaner and put them back checked wiring all seems ok.Disconnected battery too, please help, I need to go through the MOT
