spots and work lights

Hi All

Slightly dumb question i know,

Whats the best place to have a cable exit the body work to run up to the roof for spots and work lights?

I just drilled a hole in the roof and ran the cable through a proper gland.

So if landrover did it at the factory, where would they do it? Through the floor I guess!
