Hi I need some advice what are the best spot lights to buy for about 100 to 200 pounds a pair to go on roof rack

£200 will get you a pair of 170mm Lightforce plus the loom. Fancy filters roughly £28 the pair. V bright and no danger of rust but no idea if they're better than any other decent make.

I've used a couple of pairs of Barri nuts to stop mine getting nicked. Had to get these from the US but I think someone is offering equivalents in the UK.

I wouldnt be wasting that sort of money on roof rack lights, that you will only use once in a blue moon, and will be very vulnerable to branch damage. Put them down on the front to supplement your headlights and put some cheaper ones up top .
Look at Lightforfce as mentioned or Cibie turini apollo, or Hella HID , all will give serious range of illumination. JMHO :)

Agreed £200 is a bucket of cash for spotlights. I put them on the bumper so I can switch them from spot to fog using the filters.

I'd put something cheaper and more specific on the roof (although the Lightforce XGTs look impressive there's no way I can justify that sort of money).

Any recommendations for rot proof work lights?

Yis get a cheap un an connect a coily cable an fag lighter type lead to it, bolt it to a big fook orf crocodile type jump lead clampy thing an keep the whole thing in the cab. An you'll have lighting wherever you need it.

I would advise Warn spots or genuine Lr.Warn look the part and have a good pattern,Genuine Lr are just fantastic, with 100w bulbs in.If your feeling really fancy you could go for Lihtforce.I hear they are good but iver never had any.
