Split Door Near Lock

Noticed a new rattle and took the door card off to find the door is split near the lock.

Thinking of a small plate with a few rivets for now as I can’t weld.

Thoughts?

I had the same, probably too much slaming of the door.
I welded it up, perhaps there is someone local to you who can do it.

I'd ask around, there is usually a body shop that will sort that, and I'd glue a patch on the back as a strengthener ...
