i have had a problem with the fuel gauge on my cluster. freelander td4
when i turned on the ignition the fuel gauge did what it wanted to do full/ empty /over full so i decided to change the clocks so i got a second hand set every thing seemed to work OK .
and i was happy but a few days later i noticed the ac didn't work.
i did all the checks fuses relays a/c compresses and switch every seemed to work OK except there was no live going to the clutch wiring check OK fans OK and so on.
after some research and a lot of time on google the wiring went threw the pod cluster .
so back in went the old clocks and the ac started working again as for the fuel gauge i forced the needle back to the empty position and the fuel gauge started working how it should now its not giving false reading now and every things fine .
i do hope this helps some people with ac and fuel clock problems
