Speedo cable replaced but still no work!

Series 111 speedo stopped working, replaced cable as it had been rubbing in the middle and had broken through and snapped the drive cable.
However, the speedo now seems not to work even though I can see the speedo cable turning.

Any ideas please or am I just not connecting it properly.
Cable was from Paddocks seems good!

Please help me as I dont think I am breaking the speed limit, but it would be nice to see how fast I am going.

think your in wrong department..

series dept is up top on left,

go out of here, turn left past traaaater dept, careful of oil, rust and bad language.

carry on past depender cage... be cautious of splashing water & mud then stop just as you can see the mad house!

its there on left.

oh and by the way.... series 111, how fast? not very!!

OK I have had another look at your directons but I still can't make out if your taking the.......... or I am lost? What should I be looking for?

Are you sure its fully engaged in the speedo? you could always try the electric drill trick to test it.

most likely not fully engaged in the head. yer need to give em a reet good push and make sure you hear/feel it click into place
