If your anything like me, when you need one oil seal you buy 3.
So why is it my stock is full of seals ( in particular Karsons supplied by Paddocks) but without a recognised part number.

Example is MR 14078. I'm pretty sure its an axle case oil seal but what model.

Decided to google Karsons MR14078. Mr Squirty Splashy does 2 lesbians. Not quite what i expected.
So I put it too you, where can i find what these Karsons seals are for. Where is the great book of part numbrs? They may not even be for the series but for the 110.

What you've got is the maufacturers part number that refers to their seal of a certain size. Somebody has done the work and matched that to a series size and then sold it as that (paddocks et al). If you haven't got the Land Rover equivalent code then you're up sh!t creek :)
