Some people stoop too low ...

"We discovered yesterday that the door hinges on our team Land Rover had been loosened sometime over the last couple of days. We highly suspect that the intention was to return and steal the doors. North Wales Police have been informed, and regular nightly patrols are being put in place to help safeguard our team vehicles.
When called out to assist North Wales Police, we rely on our Land Rover for most incidents, as it is a Mountain Rescue ambulance and vital to our operation as our only off-road vehicle. We as a team are sickened with this ultra low act of intended theft from a charitable organisation whose primary role is helping others who are in danger.

Following the sickening news that thieves had tried to steal our Defender doors we have some good news to share this morning....

A huge thank you to Gareth Williams at Defender UpGradeshttp://defenderupgrades.co.uk/ for kindly donating some anti theft hinges to the team

Also to Conwy Landrover to the offer of help with our Defender.
Thank you also to Will at LRD Security for coming to our aid and helping us to beef up security on our Land Rover. Help like this is vital to our team and so appreciated."

Rains a lot int Wales...
But it's a Fender not a Hippo, and tdoors duznt falls orft int wet!:eek:
However, a big BZ to those who have offered and given their service and expertise to assist the South Snowdonia S&R Team, along with a wish that the thieving scroats get caught and handed over to some of those young, extremely fit members of the Regiment who go out and have fun on the Beacons, in order that they may physically restrain, using 'the minimum amount of force required to subdue the suspects' prior to them being handed to the authorities for the legal process to be implimented! :p:p
Not that I advocate violence in any form, you understand ;);)

I can understand, without condoning it, someone wanting to half-inch a million quid, or something extremely valuable like a briefcase full of diamonds, but a set of Defender doors!!! OK, they're expensive for some people but fercrissakes there are limits and the people (I use the term people lightly) who try to steal from organisations like this are really lower than low.

Chop their goolies off ....
