Soldering?

Hello,

Is it possible that I can solder the steel gauze from the bottom of my old fuel pickup pipe to the bottom of my new (gauze-less) steel pickup pipe? If not soldering, then what would you recommend? It's just sucking **** straight up to my filter and I'm having to swap them every couple of weeks!

yes you can. getting it clean enough mite be difficult tho.

Ta for the replies. I do have some fluxed brazing rod and a blow torch so I shall take that route I think.
